Sports Center “Mladost” is located on the road leading to the river Tisa, near the hotel “Bela Lada”. The establishment is aimed at professionals, included are preparatory and recreation facilities. There are open-air and indoor swimming-pools, three tennis courts, a sports hall, a shooting-gallery and a sauna to assist in relaxing aching and tired muscles of the guests. The “Goran Park” behind the sports hall provides a peaceful and relaxing area for the pleasure of the guests. The 3-star hotel ”Bela Lada” was built along the banks the river Tisa, the “Goran Park” and the Sports Center in 1996. It offers 24 double rooms and 6 apartments as well as a restaurant that seats 300 people. Following the influential land-owners of Europe, Bogdan Dunderski had his castle built in 1923, and it combines several building styles. There is an open-air swimming pool in the park surrounding the castle that had been used until World War II. The building was reconstructed as a hotel in the 1980s. Now it provides more than 40 beds.

RUSANDA

“Rusanda Special Hospital” is situated in Melenci, in the middle of the large lowlands of Banat and was named after the nearby lake Rusanda. The natural conditions and fascinating surroundings make this place a perfect holiday resort and also a hydrotherapic center. The institution has developed a wide range of excellent treatments based on medicinal mud and thermal waters. The primary function of this health resort is providing medical rehabilitation, curing of central and peripheral nervous systems, different diseases of bones, muscles and joints, circulatory diseases and others. The in-patient department can receive 400 persons, accommodating them in double and triple rooms in two newly built three-starred pavilions. Guests can take part in excursions and visits to the Stallion Farm in Stari Becej, the Nature Reserve of Carska Swamp or the Fish Pond of Ecka.

SENTA

IN THE HEART OF VOJVODINA Senta is located by the river Tisa in the heart of Vojvodina. STARI SLANKAMEN

The town of Stari Slankamen lies on the riverside, opposite the place where Tisa flows into Danube. These natural conditions played a significant role in the development of a first class hunting area and health tourism. Spa “Dr Borivoje Gnjatic” was established in 1906 – with a medical center and hotel. Now it can accommodate 350 persons offering a peaceful place for rest and recovery. This widely known health resort has become specialized in curing disorders of human musculoskeletal system and neurological diseases. A wide range of treatments are used with great success such as hydrotherapy, thermotherapy, galvanic bath (four-chambered galvanic bath), phototherapy, laser-therapy, magnetic therapy and speech therapy.
